  • notes   Detail of a single glandular-hairy, ball-like flowering head of Navarretia rosulata. The 6-lobed corolla is an anomaly.

    Found growing on serpentine gravel substrate off Pine Mountain Road on Carson Ridge. This is nearly a Marin County endemic, except for a few stations in serpentine locales (Cedar Roughs & Butts Canyon) in Napa County.
