  • location   rural dirt road from Stevens to Ignacio Zaragosa (El Willy), 1.8 miles north of km 42 on new paved higway to Colonia Pacheco, 1.8 miles south of side road east to Cueva de la Olla, (Mcp. Casas Grandes, Chihuahua, Mexico)
  • family Cupressaceae
  • plant community   oak-juniper woodland at 1903m (6240')
  • notes   arroyo drainage between low volcanic rhyolitic tuff hillsides. Very large tree measured at 40' tall, 90 inches in circumference (3 feet above soil line). Voucher collected by R. Spellenberg (NMSU)#14700 at NMC
