  • notes   plant on volcanic tuff soil/gravel accumulation along river bank in canyon bottom. The hard warty conical armaments lining the trunk and major limbs are distinctive on a plant that is leafless for 6 to 9 months.SYN: Ceiba acuminata, Bombax a.
