  • plant community   Sonoran Desert coastal thornscrub at 190' elev.
  • notes   Foliage view. Small tree on coarse gravelly volcanic soil of wide, braided sheet-wash arroyo draining coastal plain between rhyolite hills. Note presence of the quickly deciduous leaflets on single pairs of pinnae and elongate phyllodes (flattened, elongate, leaf-like petioles).
