  • family Apiaceae
  • notes   Stem of a very late phenology plant of Sanicula tuberosa. Like all the other plants nearby, its basal and cauline leaves had withered and dropped and only a few bracts remained. The umbel heads here consist of a few very 'bumpy' (tuberculate) green fruits, with spreading, trumpet-like, staminate flowers in between.
