| Reviewer's comments: | | | | "The depressed head shape and copiously woolly harp-shaped paleae are unmistakable for this taxon. Filago californica has ovoid heads with more sparsely appressed-woolly paleae. All of the CalPhotos entries currently identified as Filago californica are instead Micropus californicus var. californicus.
