notes Some salient characters of A. pacifica: - Leaves with stomata on both upper, as well as lower, surfaces. (The stomata look like fairly dense and very fine white 'pin-pricks' in the waxy cuticle of the leaf surface...see companion post.)
- Leaves finely serrate, elliptic, tapered to a wedge-shaped base and acute at tip.
- Plant prostrate to mounding.
- Inflorescence simple to 1-branched.
