  • location   rural road to Carbonara, 5.3 road miles S of La Hediondilla, 17 miles SW of San Rafael de Galeana, on the Nuevo Leon/Coahuila state line (Mcpio. Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico)
  • family Malvaceae
  • plant community   along margin of desert scrub (Koeberlina-Larrea-Flourensia) and long-abandoned farmland at 1870 m (3016')
  • notes   plants on flat plain of a large bolson in silty, slightly gyp/saline, calcareous clay soil, along the margin between a long abandoned agricultural area with numerous diverse annuals resulting from recent heavy rains and patches of undisturbed native desert scrub. Site is located just inside (ca. 50 m) the state line.
