Acanthaceae
plant community Chihuahuan desert scrub, Larrea-Flourensia-Koeberlina community at 1870 m. elev.notes plants on flat plains of a large bolson(los llanos), in silty, slightly saline, calcareous clay, along the margin between a long abandoned agricultural area and undisturbed native scrub. Originally recorded as collected in Nuevo Leon, but later determined to be about 50 meters inside Coahuila. Almost all plants were clearly prostrate in habit, very few decumbent/ascending.
