Found on Moloka'i, Maui and Hawai'i islands, this is the most variable species in Hawaii. Usually a scandent shrub or liana (woody vine), with large, often pendent, paniculate flowers. Flowers usually red, but also green to yellowish green. Monoecious plants. This location is more of a mesic forest with an elevation around 4200ft/1280m.camera Olympus Stylus 850SW
