  • plant community   seep spring riparian in Pine-oak forest at 2365 m (7759')
  • notes   open ground with moist soils of large seep area. NOTE: orange flower color approaches that of S. pacifica. Although very similar, thicker leaf blades with short petioles and more robust flowers places this plant with S.coccinea
