  • notes   Endemic to Hawaiian Islands. This was likely planted quite a while ago as the tree is large for this species. This tree is clustered with numerous surrounding trees including Koa (Acacia koa), Pilo (Coprosma rhynchocarpa), and is hard to isolate in a photo. It is the tree in the center of this photo with the largest trunk and limbs, reaching 30+ ft. in height.
