notes Habitat of Bouteloua curtipendula, growing at lower left among rocks near the wash. The yellow flowering shrub is Ericameria cooperi, and both Pinus edulis (two-needled) and Pinus monolhylla (one-needled) grow in the area, as does Quercus turbinella and Q. chrysolepis.
