Trenta valley, East Julian Alps (Posočje, Slovenia)notes Slo.: gomoljasti grban - Habitat: dry grassland, alluvial river deposit, flat terrain, shallow soil layer, calcareous ground, sunny place, exposed to direct rain, average precipitations ~ 3.000 mm/year, average temperature 7-9 deg C, elevation 440 m (1.450 feet), alpine phytogeographical region. - Substratum: soil. - Comment: Growing in a group of three plants. A rare fund in Slovenia. Given coordinates do not describe the location exactly. - Protected plant species of the Natura 2000 network. Protected according to 'Uredba o zavarovanih prosto živečih rastlinskih vrstah' Ur.l. RS, št. 46/2004.
