notes Habit of Rafinesquia neomexicana, with wet sands all around. I had driven from the Granite Mountains that morning, and would continue to the Coast Range that evening. It had rained in the Mojave throughout the preceding night and continued that entire day. Delightful to experience a good desert rain :-) photo category: Plant - annual/perennial
