notes Detail side-view of a flower. Note the papillate-hairy stigmatic surface and the translucent rod-like appendages on short yellow stipes at the base of the two upper filaments of the stamen tube. Note also the yellow egg-yolk-like glands in the bowl at the base of the corolla, and the ciliate hairs on the edges of the upper 3 lobes of the corolla.
