Soèa river bank near village Plave, foothills of East Julian Alps, (Posoèje, Slovenia)notes Slo.: dvocvetni žefran - Habitat: grassland with bushes of Corylus avelana, calcareous dry ground, elevation about 80 m (250 feet), precipitations ~2.200 mm/year, average temperatures 10-12 deg C, submediterranean phytogeographical region. - Comment: First found in Slovenia in 2008, the site represents the most northeast location in the distribution of the species. (Not yet) enlisted in the Slovene Red List of rare and endangered species. Coordinates are approximate only.camera Nikon D700 / Nikkor Micro 105mm/f2.8
