Second species is Hyla arborea (Linnaeus, 1758). Both of them has similar habitus (general appearance), but they can be identified by different vocalisation, lateral stripe and lenght of hind legs. H. savignyi has different call sound, relatively long hind legs, and lateral stripe in inguinal region without horned shaped (from Ahmet Karatash) You don't see these frogs in the sunlight but when the weather is dark, they sing each other. I listened them during one our and took many photos. It was a memorable night for me.keywords: Hyla, Turkey, Hatay
