location
Parowan Gap. Near Parowan (Iron County, Utah, US)notes These petroglyphs were carved into Navajo Sandstone by Native Americans. Fremont peoples were thought to inhabit this area from about 600 to 1300 A.D., but many of these petroglyphs at this location appear to be older. Some sources suggest they may be as much as 3000 years old, preceding the arrival of the Fremont.keywords: petroglyph, Fremont, Native American, abstract, geometric
