Wine yards northwest of Novi grad (Istria, Croatia)notes Slo.: ? - Habitat: Road side of a dirt road through a wine yard, near Adriatic sea shore, flat terrain, deep clay ground; dry, sunny, exposed to direct rain, place, average precipitations ~ 1,100 mm/year, average temperature 12 - 14 deg C, elevation 18 m (60 feet), submediterranean phytogeographical region. - Substratum: Leaves/stem of Sorhgum halepense (Johnsongrass). - Comment: Length of sporocarp cca. 4 cm (1,6 inch). Spore print black. Spore balls diameter 75 (SD=16) x 62 (SD=14) micr., n=21, Motic 2B-211A, magnification 100 x; spore dimensions 12,1 (SD=0,8) x 10,9 (SD=0,7) micr, Q = 1,07 (SD=0,08), n = 30. Shape: subglobose, globose, some slightly irregular, minutely echinulate.
