  • notes   Young frog of Pelodytes sp. caught in an area (SW Portugal) suspected to have still a genetic unidentified species of Pelodytes. Until now they are still recorded as Pelodytes punctatus but DNA data revealed a clear separated group comparable with the genetic distance measured between two identified species Pelodytes punctatus and Pelodytes ibericus.
