notes This beautiful species is only found in this part of the Mississippi Valley and in eastern Pennsylvania. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find and is a rare treat when you do run across it. This was an extensive patch in the shade of a very large dolomite block which rests halfway down the wooded talus slope from the top of the bluff.camera Canon PowerShot SX10, manual settings
