  • notes   Slo.: brezova odpadljivka - Habitat: Group of Betula pendula var. pendula as a pioneer species on an abandoned pasture; shallow, moderately acid soil on cretaceous clastic rock (flysh), almost flat ground, partly protected from direct rain and in shade of tree canopies, average precipitations ~3.000 mm/year, average temperature 8-10 deg C, altitude 550 m (1.800 feet), alpine phytogeographical region. - Substratum: still alive or dead still standing or down stumps of Betula pendula var. pendula. - Ref.: A.Bernicchia, Polyporaceae s.l., Fungi Europaei 10, Edizioni Candusso (2005), p 448.
