| Reviewer's comments: | | | | "Judging from the photo alone this could represent Hypsiboas marianitae. However, proper identification of theses species by morphology alone is very difficult, as demonstrated by Köhler et al. (2020) Zoologica Scripta, doi:10.1111/j.1463-6409.2010.00448.x.
Hypsiboas balzani is certainly known only from three localities in the Departamento La Paz, Bolivia, near Apolo." |
