  • notes   The picture is of Rorippa nasturtium-aquaticum (Water-cress) or the closely related Rorippa microphylla (Narrow-fruited Water-cress). 'The Vegetative Key to the British Flora' states that R. nasturtium-aquaticum is green in autumn whilst R. microphylla is purplish so the plant pictured is probably R. nasturtium-aquaticum.
