  • notes   Yellow-flowered Eriophyllum pringlei is arid California's more common low, mat-forming, discoid, annual Eriophyllum (E. mohavense, of the central Mojave is more rare...and with much smaller heads.) Also visible at center here is Centrostegia thurberi, a Chorizanthe-segregate.
