Yosemite National Park (Tuolumne County, California, US)notes View of Cathedral Peak, elev. 10,940 ft., from the west. This part of Yosemite was subjected to extensive glaciation, but the peak remained above the ice. As a result, it does not exhibit the rounded features characteristic of glaciated peaks.
