notes What struck me as distinctive about this small, annual monkeyflower were the inflated calyces---sessile, ridged, and hairy. The limbs of the corollas barely stuck out of their fluffy, ovoid-globose calyces.camera Shot on a Canon Digital Rebel XT at f9, 1/125, ISO 100, using a Canon 100mm macro lens.
