notes The long peduncles clearly distinguish B. multiradiata from B. pleniradiata. Baileya species (like Psilostrophe) have 'marescent ligules', meaning the rays are persistent on the head becoming papery and reflexed with age, as is visible here on many of the heads.camera Shot on a Canon Digital Rebel XT at f11, 1/100 sec, ISO 100, using a Canon 50mm Compact macro lens.
