habitat On ground in an open area.notes Este individuo de P. lugubris fue hallado a las 7:30 a.m., en el suelo alrededor de un rancho peque�o, llevando en su espalda tres cabezones. Cuando lo atrape para tomar esta foto movi uno de los cabezones y este cayo. La fotografia es parte del proyecto PILA-Darwin: Herramientas basicas para el manejo del Parque Internacional La Amistad ('Darwin Initiative', numero de beca 15/027: 'Baseline tools for management in P.I. La Amistad (Costa Rica/Panama)'), del Museo de Historia Natural de Londres y la Universidad de Costa Rica. //// This individual P. lugubris was found during day (at 7:30) on the ground arround a little ranch, carrying three tadpoles on its back. When I catched it to take this photo, I moved a tadpole and it fell. The picture is part of the PILA-Darwin Project ('Darwin Initiative' 15/027: 'Baseline tools for management in P.I. La Amistad (Costa Rica/Panama)'), of the Natural History Museum of London and the University of Costa Rica.photo category: Animal - Amphibian
