habitat On leaf litter, in a mature forest.notes It is an adult female. It was active during the day on the leaf litter, in a mature cloud forest. Other individuals, both males and females, were active at the same time in this area. Individuals of C. chompipe have been observed feeding in the leaf litter. Food includes adult and larvae of Coleoptera and Diptera, Isopoda, and other arthropods. In this species females reach larger body sizes than males. The picture belongs to the project Biodiversidad de Costa Rica (http://www.ceducar.org/COMUNIDADES/costarica/login/index.php) In this web site you can see a description of the amplexus of C. chompipe.//Esta es una hembra adulta. Estaba activa durante el dia sobre la hojarasca del suelo, en un bosque nuboso maduro. Otros individuos, tanto hembras como machos, estaban activos en el mismo momento en ese sitio. Individuos de C. chompipe han sido observados alimentandose en la hojarasca. Su comida incluye larvas y adultos de Coleoptera y Diptera, Isopoda, y otros artropodos. En esta especie las hembras llegan a tama�os corporales mayores que los machos.
