notes It was drizzling on and off that day. The patches of Mohavea confertiflora were the most vibrantly floriferous that I've ever seen. My photos don't do them justice. (But Tony Morosco's CalPhotos posts come closer. Coincidentally his photos were taken the same day, and from their look I hazard to guess in the same locale...though we didn't bump into each other as far as I know :-)camera Shot with a Canon D60 at f9, 1/50, ISO 100, using a Canon 50mm Compact macro lens.
