| Reviewer's comments: | | | "This is Pyrola dentata (note it has glaucus leaves that appear blue-green in color), a separate species from P. picta but not listed in the Jepson 2 manual and listed only as a subspecies of P. picta in the 1993 edition. Check out Diana Jolles' work on the group at Pyrola.org for more info. It is a fun group we have represented here in southern California too!" |
