  • notes   Habit and habitat of Asclepias subulata. If you look closely you can see two 'Tarantula Hawks' (large Pompilid wasps of the genus Pepsis). One's flying over the center of the plant, the other is to the left.
  • camera   Shot on a Canon Digital Rebel XT at f11, 1/320 , ISO 100, using a Canon 50mm Compact macro lens.
