notes Profile view of N. longiflorus var. breviflorus (whole plant, basal rosette at bottom). A few plants were growing in an opening in Scrub Oak/Chamise chaparral. Thanks to Nancy Morin (Jepson Manual and FNA author for Nemacladus) for help with ID.camera Shot with a Canon Digital Rebel XT at f16, 1/100, ISO 100, with flash, using a Canon 50mm Compact macro lens.
