| Reviewer's comments: | | | | "Per The Jepson Desert Manual, this image shows tubercles with a length > 3x width (rather than < 2x) and filaments reddish (rather than green), which makes it Opuntia acanthocarpa rather than O. echinocarpa. Per Flora of North America, the genus has been transferred to Cylindropuntia." |
