  • notes   Baker's Prairie is a seventy-one acre remnant of 'a once 5,000-acre tallgrass prairie in northwest Arkansas.' It lies just across the road from the Harrison High School with industrial sites in the very near vicinity. As best that I can understand this prairie preserve is owned and stewerted by 'The Nature Conservancy' It is a grand piece of the past.
