Liliaceae
notes The folded leaves and the tendency toward blue/purple suggests Erythronium mesochorium. However, the mottle leaves and the recurved sepals and petals lead to Erythronium albidium. This plant was found in what was formerly an old woodland of no less than fifty to sixty years. The preceeding fall it had been bull dozed to plant grasses and forbs that might attract wildlife.camera Nikon D80
