Action: changed name from "Timema sp." to "Timema chumash "

    Reviewer's comments:
"Multiple characters point to Timema chumash here. First off, the terminalia of the male (riding on top of the larger female here) are quite distinctive in T. chumash...the most conspicuous part being the very large (relatively) inward pointing tooth on the sinistral cercus...positioned fairly low (i.e. basally). An enlarged, higher resolution image would make it more obvious, but zooming in here, I think that and other subtleties of the male terminalia are pretty clear indicators of T. chumash (compare with Fig. 4 here...and note that the dextral cercus is seen somewhat on edge in the photo). In addition, the location on Angeles Crest Hwy, in the San Gabriel Mnts, also supports T. chumash...which is the only species of Timema recorded from those mountains...see Vickery (1993) and other ref's, as well as Tanja Schwander's interactive map. Moreover, the underlying leaves appear to be that of an oak, which is one of the host plants of T. chumash. Finally, going through the key in Vickery (1993) For more info on Timema, and detailed citations to references...see the BugGuide Timema info page."
