notes E. lobbii is very distinctive with its long, trailing, prostrate inflorescences and its tuft of gray-green basal leaves (the younger of which often have a 'dusty-bronze' quality). This plant was growing at about 6200 ft, which is much lower than I'm used to seeing E. lobbii in the high Sierra to the south.camera Shot at f11, 1/250, ISO 100 on a Canon Digital Rebel XT with a Canon 50mm Compact macro lens.
photo category: Plant - annual/perennial
