notes Vegetative growth of Calystegia soldanella. The distinctive thickish and glossy 'reniform-auriculate' leaves are almost as pretty as the big rose-tinged white flowers (not shown here). All this usually growing out of what appears to be pure sand!camera Shot on a Canon Digital Rebel XT at f6.3, 1/60, ISO 100 with a Canon 50mm compact macro lens.
