notes Detail of flower. I'm assuming this is T. albidum based on the color of the connective tissue between the yellow anther sacs on the edges of the stamens. Trillium chloropetalum is very similar in size, form, leaf color and mottling. And while T. chloropetalum often has wine-red to purple petals, it can have white petals like T. albidum. However, T. chloropetalum differs from T. albidum in having purple connective tissue between the anther sacs, according to the Jepson Manual. (I think Munz lumped the two species.)camera Shot on a Canon Digital Rebel XT at f20, 1/8 s, ISO 800, with Canon 100mm lens.
