habitat this pair in a Large Wet meadow Pond- not really a lake, sandy substrate, few small bouldrs and logs, next to a smaller pool witnotes PEAVINE LAKE MONITORING PROJECT 1997-2007. Male treefrogs were calling and many clutches of their eggs were seen in one area by out-flowing culvert under Jawbone Road , but no females seen. Newts breeding here too (this photo). Much vehicle tire damage to the substrate near where frog eggs were and these were calling from.camera Sony Digital on Macro Function
