  • notes   This Yellow-billed Loon is a juvenile. The bird normally spends summers in the Arctic and winters along the coast of Alaska or British Columbia. Only rarely does one stray as far south as California. This bird remained at the mouth of Pescadero Creek for about two weeks in late November 2006.
