| Reviewer's comments: | | | "The Ferruginous Hawk indeed has an eagle-like head with that wide gape, but too much white in the head for this to be a Golden. Also, look at the great rusty feathers on the shoulder and upper back -- that is the classic "rust" for which the Ferruginous Hawk was named. Adult bird, also told by the rust." |
