The thin, lance-linear calyx lobes (appearing here in groups of three appressed against the corollas) are seen radiating outward beyond the more centrally located involucre, with its smaller, basally-fused lobes.camera Shot at f8, 1/250 on a Canon D60 with a 50mm Canon compact macro lens.
