    Action: commented on photo

    Reviewer's comments:
"Upon closer inspection, I see that the image of the photographer I cited as resembling this same species and that "may even be a part of the same series" is, in fact, an image of the exact same specimen as those identified as being from Escalante, Utah."

    2. Reviewed by Lee Dittmann    Feb 13, 2010

Action: changed name from "Shepherdia argentea" to "Shepherdia rotundifolia "

    Reviewer's comments:
"The texture of the stems and the revolute apparent roundness of the leaves argue against this as S. argentea. It appears most like S. rotundifolia which this same photographer has some fine images of on this website. It may even be a part of the same series as his Oct. 1, 1952 images from Escalante, Utah. See Photo ID #0024 3291 1997 0040, for example.

The location is almost certainly also in error, S. rotundifolia being unknown from California."
