         "The name Epilobium oreganum has been misapplied to c&nSNH plants, based largely on the key in Munz & Keck which directed the long styled plants of E. glandulosum var. glandulosum to E. exaltatum E. Drew. The c&nSNH plants have occassional outgrowths of the stigmatic surface, which if not carfully inspected as high magnification, can appear as style branches"
