  • notes   Four species of Tiquilia are listed in the Jepson Manual. Key characters indicating T. plicata are: i) opposite branches; ii) 4-7 pairs of deeply sunken veins per leaf ; and iii) more or less glandular stems. Note the sand covered stems (indicating they are indeed quite glandular).
