The three (inconspicuous) spines at the tip of the abdomen indicate a male...and it keys to Crioscolia flammicoma in McKay(1987). Among the diagnostic characters: wing venation details (3 submarginal cells, 2 "recurrent veins"...see here), and ferruginous (vs. black) basal bands on the abdominal segments." |
